A couple of winners

Derek and I went up to Winter Park for a local mountain bike race on Saturday. It's such a sweet event that the promoters even have childcare so we could BOTH race! We both won our SingleSpeed categories so it was a great day all around.

Sunday we spent the whole day working on the house. Our large roll-off is almost FULL and the basement is looking much more open. We removed all of the drop ceilings and all of our duct work and will someday soon put new radiant heat in the house. The furnace is GONE! It's awesome, the amount of dust (and mouse shit) we were venting through our house was disgusting. Good decision Derek!

Lucy's first movie!

Last weekend we saw Toy Story 3. It was awesome, Lucy did great! If you haven't seen it yet, the movie is a little darker than I expected, it was a little adult for a 2 year old but we loved it anyways!

I remember when the sink was way too big for her, I asked Cindy to bathe Lucy as a baby and it just didn't work out. She fits just fine now, thanks for giving her a sink bath! Cute!

It's on!!!

WOO HOO!

I've been waiting 3+ years for this day! We're removing the old wood burning fireplace and installing a gas fireplace and patching the HUGE hole in the brick wall. It's been about 10 degrees colder downstairs (summer and winter) for 3 winters as we removed the chimney that long ago. FINALLY we are going to fix it and put in RADIANT HEAT!!

A couple weekends ago we went to a Bridal Shower for Suzy. Lucy was on best behavior, she loved all the attention. She was an excellent present helper for Suzy! We had a ball!

Our sweet angel
