The "pa-pa" is not allowed besides bedtime now. Lucy thinks it hilarious if she sneaks into her room to get her blankie and pa-pa because she knows she not supposed to have it. You'd have to be here but its really funny when she tip toes around with a blankie on her head to hide the pa-pa!

Man, playgrounds are awesome these days. I can find one every half mile around where we live which is great bribery for trips to the store and what not. Here's how our conversation went today:

Lucy: Wee?
Me: ok, get on your shoes!
Lucy: Wee?
Me: let's go! (To the garden nursery first) Want to go wee lucy?

Once in car:
Lucy: Wee?
Me: ok, let's go to the nursery first
Lucy: Wee?

At nursery:
Lucy: Wee?
Me: in a few minutes, let's get some plants first
Lucy: insert crazy 2 year old running around nursery here
Me: if you behave we can go to the Wee!

Yes, we are at the park...

Good weekend

Yesterday Derek and I played 9 holes, thanks to Aunt Les for babysitting, then we went for a 2 hour bike ride pulling Lucy. Today I did yoga and rode in the AM and Derek raced his bike this afternoon. It can't get much better for a weekend with a 2 year old. We had plenty of us time, plenty of Lucy time, and plenty of alone time. Too bad tomorrow is Monday. I had to run to Home Depot for supplies so I coaxed Lucy with a stop at a park.
