Casino... Cha Ching!!

Sorry for the lack of photos this week. I have been meaning to take a few photos of the job I'm working on this week but we've been so busy working that I didn't even stop to take them. I think we put in about 55 hours this week up at Ameristar Casino in Blackhawk. We even pulled an late niter and got a room comped so we could rise @ 600 the next morning and start again. We're all exhausted but it's super cool to be involved in a casino project, I think it will lead to much work in the future.

We'll be back on Monday to touch up some more and I'll take some photos then. It was mostly faux wood graining and some god awful wallpapering. I don't know how Cindy did that for a living for so long!

Fun at the Beach!

We went to the beach again, this time with our friends Geri and Riley (2). At the end of the little trip, while Geri and I were cleaning up our towels and chairs, we looked over and spotted the girls hugging all on their own. So cute!

Lucy had great weekend! Friday we did the beach, Saturday we had a wedding shower party for Ewam & Trinette (so fun!), and Sunday we went and saw Toy Story 3 with Daddy!
I think Mom is stocking up in preparation for lots of bike racing weekends to come this fall... cyclocross starts in just a few weeks!

Sorry for the slow blogging. I have pretty pictures of the finished stairs that are awesome, I just need to connect my real camera. Coming soon!

This is a cute picture of Lynn (my sis) and Lucy at the new park near our house. I don't think a park consisted of much other than a swing and a slide when I was little, and there were no parks near our house. When we go on a bike ride on the trails close by our house we can stop at a park every half mile. Kids these days... have it so great!

After photo to come. We're back at the big house in Parker again. We've been back for a couple weeks working on the dining room and the staircase. We ripped up all the carpet and are laying a beautiful patterned runner made from concrete. We'll then repaint all the skirts and handrails and she'll insert iron spindles. Finished photo to come

I'm in Laramie tonight in prep for a 70 mile mountain bike race tomorrow. Derek and Lucy were supposed to come with me but Derek fractured his hand last week so he can't ride or race for a few weeks. Daddy Derek sent me this sweet good luck photo! Aww, shucks, I miss you guys already!
