Days away from walking

Lucy didn't realize what she did today when she grabbed her bottle out of my hands... SHE STOOD UP ALL BY HERSELF! This was a long minute at least, long enough to find my camera and take a picture!

All of the local family went to the zoo on Friday. It was Lucy and my first trip to the Denver Zoo, we loved it! Happy 19th Birthday to Lia!

Lucy loved pointing at all of the animals she could see. She especially loved the peacock with open feathers and the month-old baby giraffe.

Our first day in Moab we rode the Flat Pass Trail. We had a blast: big drop offs and fun riding on a gnarly Jeep trail. We would definitely recommend it and do it again. The second day in moab we did a mountain bike ride after a quick 50 miles on the road bike in the morning. Are we sick or what? After a steep 45 minute boulder-hike we landed in the beautiful meadow you see above. It's called "Hidden Valley."

Our Moab trip was SOO much fun!

On our way out we stopped in Friuta, CO for a sweet MTB ride. Sarah and Lucy tried out the hiking pack as well. This is just from day 1. Plenty more photos to come!

Are mexican food in Moab wasn't the best. my ice margarita was well, full of ice.

Sorry what a terrible photo. I was hard at work painting Kelly's daughter's "tween" room so I didn't get any other photos besides this one. I love it that I caught Lucy rubbing her eyes. She wasn't happy being in someone else's home. And all she wanted was her Mommy (yay!)
