Teeth!
Lucy is going places. I mean BIG time. She doesn't just teethe 2 teeth at a time, no, she teethes SIX teeth at once!! Poor thing has been in pain for a couple weeks and then got sick on top of it! She's miserable, snotty, coughing. I can't imagine not being able to blow your nose or speak about what hurts. Lucy, Mommy's here for you! I love you!

If you never clicked on Lynn's blog then you didn't see this photo. It's so cute I had to copy and paste it here. And BTW, I'm just sending out our New Year cards today. Yes, I'm behind, but at least they are en route. It took me a while to get postcard stamps... actually I asked my client to pick them up yesterday while she was as the USPS. Convenient, huh?

Play date Saturday
Lucy and I had a busy Saturday. First we visited Ivy who is 2 (no pics), then we has lunch with Erin and Zane. We haven't seen any of them in many months. And exciting news... Zane is about to get a baby sister! Lucy offered up her clothes for sharing. Since she outgrows them so quickly it's a great thing to pass them along.

Balloons!
Derek, Lucy and I ran a 5k today in 23 minutes. I'm just sure we won although we weren't the first people across the line... you know how that goes. It's great fun to do a sport and not feel overly competitive about it. Thanks to my sister Leslie for pushing Lucy. It was great everyone came out and good to see Leslie and Chuck.
(we registered in the building behind Lucy, I think it's an elementary music academy).

Topless Baby!
Lucy and I tried to take our first swim class tonight, but I was late. We go again on Wednesday. Anyways, we did our own little swim tonight instead of the group swim, it was a blast. Lucy cried when she first got in the water but by the end she was kicking and screaming. The APEX center pool is the bomb, and it's only a few blocks away. We are gonna become fish swimming twice a week!
