To a 1.75 year old after all that toy opening stimulation! It was a great Xmas for us and Lucy cleaned house! She got a new Skuut and a Trunki... I finally downloaded photos...

Our last snow storm we built a little snow ramp in the back yard.

Flash Dance... I mean STATE CHAMP!

My friend John Haley told me he liked the Flash Dance leg warmer look I sported across the finish line. It's too bad they fell down or I'd have lots of great photos. Anyways, it's pretty cool to be state champ.

For those of you that get Altitude TV, the race will be on TV a few times, the first time December 17th. Stay tuned!

Thanksgiving came and went

It was a good vacation. Everything went smoothly. Turkey fell off the bone and is all gone (thanks to the slow cooker!); I am sure I gained a couple pounds from all the dessert I made; we raced our bikes yesterday and today... nothing too exciting!

I have to ask for forgiveness because Derek lost his real camera and mine is broken (flash doesn't work), so we don't have any great shots of the feast or the weekend. Sarah made me feel real bad for only taking phone shots so I've put that on hold... hence no photo updates lately. Maybe soon I'll take my camera and get it fixed. until then, blame it on Sarah, its easier that way.

We hope all the Iowa folk had a great time, we missed you!

Turkey coming soon

I'm pretty excited about cooking my first Thanksgiving meal, except wait, someone else is cooking the turkey. I was ready to do it all and now everyone is involved. I think I'd rather just do it myself than try and coordinate it all so we'll see how it turns out. By Thursday this table should look pretty good.
