sunday sunday sunday

I decided I needed to push myself a little more and that I needed more punishment so I raced with the men's category 3s before the women's race. Here I am pretty excited



And here I am just before my big crash in the barriers. I crashed just as I was chasing down the winning attack (notice my back foot, toe dragging and imagine me catching it on the barrier and face planting...) duh! I didn't close it down. I did finish second (in the women's race).

Brenda is skeptical

Brenda doesn't believe in recovery "aides" (other than beer) but I enticed her with my compression tights and the COMPEX. We'll see how fast she goes tomorrow...



Brenda shows her excitement for the muscle stimulator known as the COMPEX. We use the recovery mode, and oh it is sooo nice!



About 30 seconds after sporting the tights for the photo Brenda ran to take them off. She's not sold on the tights yet... but the COMPEX is another story!

Sunday's Race

Although I started on the back row (of about 30 racers) I finished about the same as yesterday, in 8th place. For those of you wondering, yes, I race for profit. I won $81 dollars each day and I paid $80 total to enter the races. Weekend net= $82 Not too bad (of course, I'm not quitting my day job)

Lucy was so much fun today. After the races we went over to a friend's house and she played with bigger kids for the first time ever. She's so active now. I'll try and post a video of her army crawl. She's so much fun and such a great baby!

Saturday's Race

The big girls came to town this weekend for the Boulder Cup cyclocross races. I was hoping for a couple good races, and I pulled out a 7th on Saturday. It was a hard race but I'm proud to say I'm the fastest working mom out there!
